Kiran’s practice focuses on Family Law, Child Protection matters, Real Estate Law and Estate Planning. Before commencing her practice in British Columbia, Kiran has practiced in India for many years. Her primary practice area has been Family Law. Kiran is also an accredited Family Law Mediator. She highly advocates collaborative settlement approach for the resolution of family law cases, but also understands that some family law matters cannot be resolved without litigating in the court systems. Kiran has successfully represented her clients in the Provincial and the Supreme Courts of British Columbia. She has successfully handled complex cases regarding property division, parenting issues and support issues. Kiran also prepares Cohabitation Agreements, Pre-nuptial Agreements, Marriage Agreements, and Separation Agreements, according to the needs of her clients. Apart from Family Law, Kiran practices Residential Conveyancing and Estate Planning as well. She also prepares Wills, Power of Attorneys and Representation Agreements. Kiran is multilingual and is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and English. When not in office, Kiran likes to spend most of her time with her husband and three children.

Naunihal commends himself for carrying deep-rooted ties in the Canadian culture. Naunihal is an avid hiker, he loves to spend time with his family and is very career and family oriented. Naunihal is currently finishing a degree in Bachelor of Criminology with a minor in Philosophy. Naunihal is in course to complete law school and become a practising member of the British Columbia Bar. Naunihal is the eldest brother of three siblings, he knows what it’s like to carry responsibilities.

Raman completed her B.A. LLB. (Hons.) and LLM from India. Raman joined the LAWHUB team as a paralegal in January 2024. During her college years, she participated in various moot court competitions and interned under the National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi, under the Supreme Court of India Counsel, and the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. To enhance her knowledge in the field of law, she graduated with a certificate of Diploma in Business Law from Douglas College, New Westminster. She is currently studying for the NCA exams to further solidify her expertise in the legal field in Canada. In her free time, she loves to explore new places and cultures. She is fluent in Hindi, English and Punjabi.

Pedrum is a dynamic and accomplished individual who holds a degree from the University of Kent Law School. His academic journey continued as he successfully completed his NCA exams in 2023, further solidifying his expertise in the legal field. During his time at the University of Kent Law School, Pedrum distinguished himself by taking on the role of Academic Minister. In this capacity, he demonstrated deep commitment to the academic success of his peers, offering guidance on effective study strategies and providing valuable insights into navigating the challenging law program. His passion for fostering a supportive academic environment made him an integral part of the student community. Pedrum’s involvement extended beyond academics as he actively participated in moots at the University of Kent. Engaging in these moots, he honed his skills in legal argumentation and gained invaluable experience in applying theoretical knowledge to real-life courtroom scenarios. This hands-on experience set him apart and equipped him with a practical understanding of the legal profession. Beyond his academics and professional pursuits, Pedrum finds joy in spending quality time with his family and friends. You can often find Pedrum at the Vancouver Seawall on one of his weekly bike rides. As Pedrum embarks on the next phase of his career, his academic achievements, leadership roles, and practical experiences position him as a promising professional in the legal field, ready to make a meaningful impact.

I originally hail from India and earned my law degree (B.A.L.L.B) from Punjabi University, Patiala. Later, I graduated from the Justice Institute of British Columbia with a Post Baccalaureate degree in Law Enforcement. Currently, I am exploring the intricacies of Canadian law at this esteemed firm. My guiding passion is learning about and applying the nuances of Canadian law. I also have a soft spot for engaging conversations, especially with the older generation. I am excited to contribute my skills to diverse fields of law. A variety of life experiences informs my approach to family law, allowing me to engage with clients more deeply, bringing a heightened level of interest and understanding to each case. In my leisure time you can find me exploring the beauty of our Beautiful British Columbia.

Chris Devine

Legal Assistant
Chris attended Newcastle Law School in the United Kingdom. As an undergraduate, he studied at Langara College in Vancouver with a focus on criminal justice. Since graduating, he has continued studies in International Law. Chris developed significant experience while mooting at Newcastle. In first year, his team won the junior mooting competition which was an internal competition for first year students. By second year, Chris was competing nationally. By third year, Chris was a mooting co-ordinator who ran the internal and external mooting competitions. In addition, he continued mooting nationally. He participated in the Inner Temple Inter-Varsity Moot competition where his team successfully mooted through a number of rounds before ultimately finishing second place to University College London in the final. Outside of the law, Chris has many areas of interest which include:
  • Improvised theatre (Canadian Improv Games National Champion and two-time finalist)
  • Sleight of hand magic (no accolades), and Baseball (coaching and playing). Most recently, his team won the 2022 Men’s AA Provincial, and placed second in 2023, narrowly missing becoming the first team to repeat as champions.
