Harpreet Singh Popli is a lawyer with more than 22 years of legal experience spanning two jurisdictions, with a practice encompassing family law, litigation, criminal law, regulatory matters, and public sector legal services. He is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Law Society of Ontario, both since 2026, and has been a member of the Bar Council of Delhi since 2004.

Mr. Popli completed his LL.B. from the University of Delhi in 2004, one of India’s premier law schools, and completed the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) process in 2023. He is also a certified mediator through the Delhi High Court Mediation Centre and has extensive experience handling complex and highly contentious family disputes, with a particular emphasis on strategic advocacy, negotiation, and practical resolution.

Prior to entering private practice in Canada, Mr. Popli served as an Adjudicator with RoadSafetyBC, Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, adjudicating Immediate Roadside Prohibition (commonly known as DUI) and ADP matters and delivering independent, reasoned decisions consistent with procedural fairness and public safety objectives. This experience strengthened his expertise in evidentiary assessment, statutory interpretation, and administrative decision making.

Mr. Popli brings to his practice extensive courtroom experience, strong advocacy and legal writing skills, careful analysis of evidence and legislation, and a practical understanding of decision making and regulatory processes.
